COMMUTER UPDATE FOR
VENTURA COUNTY AND ANTELOPE VALLEY LINES

Dear Metrolink Passenger,

Our hearts go out to everyone who had a loved one onboard the Metrolink trains involved in yesterday’s incident. During the coming days and weeks, our first priority will be to provide the best possible assistance to those involved in the incident and their families and loved ones.

We want to reassure our passengers that train travel remains the safest form of transit in the country. We will continue to operate trains on your line on a limited capacity, while we recover from the effects of this tragedy.

Until further notice, Metrolink trains on Ventura County and Antelope Valley Lines will operate a modified schedule until the tracks near the Glendale station re-open for service. We apologize for any inconvenience these interruptions may cause. We thank you for your continued support during these difficult times.

Ventura County Line:

Trains operating

Trains 102, 104 and 106 – departing Montalvo at 5:17 a.m., 5:55 a.m. and 6:34 a.m. respectively – will travel as far as the Burbank Station. Buses will transport passengers from Burbank to the Glendale Station and from there on Metrolink train shuttles operating every 30 minutes will take passengers to Los Angeles Union Station.

Trains 113, 115, 119 – departing Los Angeles at 4:26 p.m., 5:10 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. – will travel all the way to the Glendale Station. Buses will transport passengers from Glendale to the Burbank Station and from Burbank trains will travel to the remainder of the stations on the line.

Trains cancelled

Southbound trains 100, 110, 112, 114, 116 and 118 headed to Los Angeles, and northbound trains 101, 105, 107, 109,111 and 117 headed towards Montalvo are cancelled.

Antelope Valley Line:

Trains operating

Trains 202, 204, 206, 208, 212, 216 and 222 – departing Lancaster at 5:15 a.m., 5:55 a.m., 6:26 a.m., 7:00 a.m., 9:06 a.m., 1:45 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. respectively – will travel as far as the Burbank Station. Buses will transport passengers from Burbank to the Glendale Station and from there on Metrolink train shuttles operating every 30 minutes will take passengers to Los Angeles Union Station.

Trains 201, 207, 211, 215, 217, 219 and 223 – departing Los Angeles at 6:35 a.m., 11:42 a.m., 3:45 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 5:40 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. – will travel all the way to the Glendale Station. Buses will transport passengers from Glendale to the Burbank Station and from Burbank trains will travel to the remainder of the stations on the line.

Trains cancelled

Southbound trains 200, 210, 214, 218 and 220, headed to Los Angeles, and northbound trains 203, 205, 209, 213 and 221, headed towards Lancaster are cancelled.

Additional cancellations:

All 900 series trains, traveling between Los Angeles and Burbank Airport, are cancelled until further notice.
